The downside of integrated LEDs

I am often asked to make fan recommendations for my clients. The discussion about room size and mounting style are the most important details that I bring up, but I also mention that I personally avoid integrated LED lights. Why? This screen shot of a recent post is exactly why.

From what I can tell, the fan shown in this post is seven years old. Had traditional light bulbs been used, they could just be replaced. With integrated LEDs you have to hope that the LED printed circuit board is still being produced. If it is not, you might be SOL.
