I’ve lost count of how many kitchen and bath pulls I have installed over the years, but I have not done one which involved changing from one style to another. In this new build property, the request was to do just that. Along with changing from the builder installed hardware, this job involved moving to pulls with completely different holes patterns AND hole diameters.
The interior designer, who hired me to make the switch, selected these high-end brass pulls that had backing plates to cover the existing holes. These were probably the most fussy and expensive pieces of hardware that I have installed to date, but they really upgraded the look of the kitchen.
