Kitchens and Knobs

This was kitchen cabinet hardware installation number 5 at the Village Cooperative in Broomfield. This was the first one-bedroom unit that I was in, which is why the kitchen is on the slightly smaller side (though there is an island that is not shown).

I decided to post these photos because they show a kitchen that only has knobs, not handles. It gives the kitchen a little bit different look. The homeowner chose a brush nickel finish that matches the others finishes. With knobs that have brushed finishes, be consistent with positioning the brushed finish (I prefer the brush to be horizontal). With some brushed finishes, when looking at the overall kitchen, it can become quite obvious when the brush finishes are not aligned with each other.
